Bus information is expected to be posted to Parent Portal and the My Ride K-12 in late August. There may be changes to your child's bus information, so families are strongly encouraged to check Parent Portal prior to the start of school on September 2nd. You will need your child’s 9-digit student ID number to sign up for MySchoolBucks and My Ride K-12. You can find the student ID number on any of your child’s past report cards. If you have a Parent Portal account, you can view past report cards there. If you have trouble finding your student ID number, you can also contact your child’s school.

For students in Gr. K-12, no action is needed in order to receive free breakfast/lunch each day. Although students will automatically be eligible to receive free meals, it is important to note that families will be asked to complete food service paperwork in the fall. Completing the form ensures individual eligibility for certain state and federal programs as well as additional school funding, so it is extremely important for all families to return it. You can expect to receive additional information in September.

Visit myridek12.tylerapp.com download the My Ride K-12 app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You’ll need your child’s nine-digit student ID and birthdate to create an account. You can add your child now, but bus information will appear once routes are finalized. Visit www.ktufsd.org/MyRideK12 for more information.

The following students are eligible for bus transportation: Elementary school students (Grades K-4) who live 0.5 miles or more from school, middle school students (Grades 5-7) who live 0.75 miles or more from school, and high school students (Grades 8-12) who live 1.0 miles or more from school.

If you are a resident of the Ken-Ton School District and wish to register your child(ren) for Universal Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year, or if you have moved into the district or within the district and need to enroll your child(ren) in Ken-Ton Schools, please visit the Central Registration website at www.ktufsd.org/registration for comprehensive information regarding registering your student.

You can access your child's report cards and track their academic progress through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, which you can access on a computer, tablet, or smart phone. You can find the link to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal at www.ktufsd.org/ParentPortal. On this page, you will also find instructions on how to access the Portal app on a mobile device, how to update your household/contact information, how to find your child's report card, how to request an activation key, and more. If you do not have a Campus Parent Portal account, please email ICportal@ktufsd.org.

Parents and guardians can receive notifications such as school cancellations and informational alerts via ShoutPoint through the Infinite Campus student management system, which is linked to families’ Parent Portal accounts. Visit the Infinite Campus Portal Support page for information about updating your contact preferences. Parents who do not have a Parent Portal account can email icportal@ktufsd.org to update their student/family contact preferences or to be sure that your most up-to-date information is on file. 

For Universal Pre-Kindergarten students, placement letters will be mailed on August 3rd. For Gr. K-4 students, placement letters will be mailed by August 17th. Middle/high school schedules will be available in late August. Keep an eye out for additional electronic communications from your child's school.

The District Calendar booklet with detailed school activity/event information will be mailed to families in mid-to-late August and posted to this page. Links to website and Google calendars can be found at www.ktufsd.org/calendar.

For breakfast and lunch menus, nutrition information, pre-payment options (MySchoolBucks), and more, visit the Food Service website at www.ktufsd.org/nutrition. You will need your child's 9-digit student ID number to sign up for MySchoolBucks. You can find the student ID number on any of your child’s past report cards. If you have a Parent Portal account, you can view past report cards there. If you have trouble finding your student ID number, you can also contact your child’s school.

School placement letters identifying the room number, classroom time and teacher placement information is expected to be shared in mid-August. Information regarding parking and drop-off/pick-up procedures will be sent in August.
