Who can come to the Learning Center?

Everyone is welcome in the L.C. It is a resource utilized by the entire building. 

Why come? 

  • Teachers and staff who specialize in a variety of content areas who can assist you with homework
  • Use a computer
  • Take a quiz/test you missed in class
  • Textbooks, calculators, materials you can borrow
  • Reference materials
  • Tables with room to spread out and work
  • Quiet and relaxing atmosphere making it easy to focus
  • Gym medical assignment
  • Peer Tutoring
  • Organization help

 

When can you come?

  • Before school: The L.C. door usually opens at 7:30 am
  • From study hall: We take a certtain number of students from each study hall. Go to study hall and ask to be added to the Learning Center pass
  • From lunch: Ask the L.C. crew or one of your teachers to write you a pass prior to your lunch period
  • After school: We are open after school until 3:05 pm
